Keep The Girls Up

For the love of Chanel, invest in a proper bra. It is like real estate for your wardrobe.

If I see another girl dancing at a club with a crappy support system.... I am going to scream! I just do NOT understand the point of getting all dolled up to go out for the night if your outfit is completely ruined because your girls are not where they are supposed to be!

For the record you will never see my C cups flopping around on the dance floor! Why is that?! Because when I was 12yrs old I actually listened to Stacey London, who repeatedly clarified the importance of getting properly measured and buying the proper bra for your girls!

I really rather not see your girls bungee jumping off of your chest. Nor do I care to see your ugly bra strap showing through your tank or strapless top/dress.

Thank goodness we have this fabulous little invention called the convertible push-up bra.
May I also suggest a cardigan??

Sooooo the take home message for the day is...

LIFT and COVER!!

Last Thursday Night

I promised pictures from my birthday night out with the girls last Thursday. But of course my POS camera crapped out on me!!! Only 1/42 of the photos turned out to be somewhat blog-worthy. All the other 41 photos were fuuuuuuzzy.

Let's get real... this is definitely not my best photo. Thank goodness for the black and white editing option!! I still can't figure out my stupid camera angles. It is totally hit or miss with me. You would think that after watching many ANTM episodes of Tyra Banks preaching about practicing your camera angles I would know them by now!!

Umm judging by this photo... apparently not! I don't know why I have this need to stick out my chest in photos. My girls are big enough as it is. I am going to blame it on birthday cocktails this time!

Moments before this photo was taken, my fabulous friends scared the crap out of me as soon as I came into the kitchen and they yelled SURPRISE (with cocktails in their hands)!!! While we were upstairs getting ready to go out for the night they were also busy decorating the entire kitchen with pink streamers and balloons.

I had absolutely NO clue what they were up to. I was much too busy trying to figure out which pumps to wear with my dress. I am sooo easily distracted!!

thanks again ladies <3

Oops Did I Just Pin That?!

If I could live in the 1940's I'd definitely want to be a pinup girl... kidding!! I'd so be the housewife who wears a polka dot apron and a pair of high heels while baking in the kitchen. But I still think pinup girls are pretty fabulous! I am obsessed with vintage glam. Plus the "accidental" skirt above the knees pose is oh so Marilyn Monroe!

A Country Girl Without Boots

For my 20th birthday 5 days ago, my main pressie from my parents was money for cowgirl boots. I was pretty excited because my existing boots that I got when I was 13 have finally peaced out on me. They had a good run!

The next day I went out and celebrated with my girlies. I opened the card  they give me... and the writing all over the inside explains that the money in the card is for cowgirl boots! Oddly enough they had no idea my parents were doing the exact same thing!!

Can you say meant to be??? I think so!!!

Soooo now I really got to get me some new cowgirl boots!! I've been without them for long enough! The question is... which ones do I get?!

I have ruled out dark brown. Me no like brown!!! I don't own a single article of brown clothing in my closet and I'd like to keep it that way!! I am however open to tan coloured boots.

I want black. More than half of my closet is black. But black cowgirl boots always seem to look too manly. Let's face it... I am a bone a fide girlie girl.

I have yet to find any grey... turquoise... pink... or purple ones. As much as I love any of those colour options, the problem is that they can be outdated very fast. I simply can't afford that!

My boots have to look good with my jeans and sundresses. They can't come any lower than the middle of my calf (whoever invented ankle boots needs a good slap in the face). Most importantly, they must have a heel high enough to dance in!

If I am going to spend over $200 on boots then they are going to be perfect!! I will find them. I always do. Until I find them the search for my cowgirl boots continues on!!!
